Starting A Franchise with Comfort Keepers
Getting Started
Introduction to Comfort Keepers
During this initial phone call, you will learn about the senior care franchise industry, our company, and your role as a franchise owner.
Complete a Qualification Questionnaire
Before moving forward, you will complete our qualification questionnaire and begin the mutual evaluation process. Your information is confidential and will not be shared.
Support Discussion
Your franchise development specialist will have an in-depth discussion with you about the support you will receive as a Comfort Keepers franchise owner. This discussion will cover our field-based coaching program, advertising and marketing, the role of the franchise support center, software, and licensure.
Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)
The Federal Trade Commission requires franchisors to provide a disclosure document. This document includes important information about your investment, along with a copy of the current franchise agreement. Review this document carefully. Your Franchise Development Consultant will schedule a follow-up call with you to answer questions.
Franchisee Calls
At this point in the process, you should feel prepared to speak with our existing franchisees regarding their experience with Comfort Keepers. Schedule calls with existing franchise owners to ask questions and learn more about their experience.
Meet the Team
You will spend a day in our Franchise Support Center with the opportunity to meet and interact with our staff. This is the final step in the mutual evaluation process.
Agreement Signing Day
Upon signing your franchise agreement, you will be introduced to your new franchisee business coach.
Training
Our new franchise owner training runs for five weeks. The program includes four weeks of coach-led webinars and online training plus one week at our Franchise Support Center. Prior to opening, you will also spend time in an active Comfort Keepers office to observe daily operations.
Opening Day
Congratulations! It is now time to begin your journey as a franchise owner with Comfort Keepers. Remember, you are starting a business for yourself, but not by yourself.
